FIELD: oil production. SUBSTANCE: mining of oil and natural bitumens is effected by drilling, from the day surface in the center of operation block, of shaft of small section, and drilling of lifting horizontal wells from the shaft bottom in two levels by means of deflecting-and-guide string and metal bottom plate. Vertical main well is drilled from the shaft bottom. To efficiently recover oil and natural bitumens from formations, gas cap is developed in each operation block by injection through injection wells located in the upper level of working agent - steam with compressed air (or gas) or compressed air (or gas) only. Oil and natural bitumens are collected into vertical main well and their lifting is accomplished by airlift lifter mounted in separating column and vertical main well.
