FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: face loader has conveyer with rigid flight, wedge nose, guard shields and supporting plate. Wedge nose, guard shield and supporting plate. Wedge nose is located on the front end of conveyer and connected with it. Supporting plate is secured to lower side of conveyer flight and located in conveyer front part. Each guard shield is located on respective side supporting plate and hinged to it. Guard shields are installed for limited turning in the vertical plane and locking in the working position for partial covering of the lower part of cross-section of the formed working.
