FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing the sample, addition quinosol solution to it (0.38-0.42 ml at concentration 1•10-3), sorption of yttrium chelate compound with quinosol on polyurethane foam. The quantity of the latter is 10-20 mg. Sorption is carried out at pH 8.8-9.2 followed by recording yttrium luminescence intensity and measurement of its quantity by addition method.
