FIELD: electrical machines. SUBSTANCE: stator winding conductor has strands of individually transposed insulated elementary conductors with indirect coolers placed inbetween and made of high-heat-transfer metal group (silumin, brass) with tubular rust-resistant nonmagnetic steel members built inside to form forward and reverse coolant current loops; coolant feeding units are made of corrosion-resistant materials and sealed by welds and by solid material of indirect coolers. Coolant feeding units are designed for double-ended supply of coolant; service water may be used as coolant. Indirect coolers occupy 10 to 25 % of conductor sectional area in slot. EFFECT: reduced cost and maintenance charges of water treatment system due to used of service water as coolant; improved power capacity, efficiency, and reliability of electrical machine due to use of indirect coolers. 10 cl, 10 dwg
