FIELD: rolled tube production. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of equal-length feeding of a blank to a deformation zone and simultaneously rotating it, reducing the blank by its diameter and a wall thickness on a stationary cylindrical mandrel with use of a tool, performing reciprocation motion and reverse rocking motion, towards a rear end of the blank in a direction, being opposite to its feed. A feed value is equal to 5-30 mm. Such method allows to lower tube waviness and to eliminate stability loss of tubes, providing high quality of tube surface and its high-accuracy geometry. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency due to increased feed value. 1 cl, 1 dwg
