FIELD: power engineering, boiler engineering. SUBSTANCE: boiler flue is divided into two parts 1 and 2 for passing gas in tandem, each formed by its own heat-transfer surface in the form of cylinders with gollow walles, with helical channels inside them for passing medium being heated. Cylinders communicate with each other and are coaxially arranged in a spaced relation to each other with mentioned flue formed in the latter. Heat-transfer surfaces of parts 1 and 2 are connected in series to pass heated medium. Burner unit 3 is supercharged with air with compressor 4 driven by gas turbine 5 connected to flue between parts 1 and 2. Combustion products are cooled down in first part of flue to 850-970 K; pressure drop in parts 1 and 2 of flue is maintained, as a total, between 0.01 and 0.06 MPa; air is compressed to 0.16-0.35 MPa.
