FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: heat energy-to- mechanical work converter uses hermetically sealed casing 1 in the form of truncated cone partially filled with heat-transfer agent. The casing has evaporation (2) and condensation (3) regions, and an adiabatic section. The casing accommodates heat-insulating ring 4, being a component of the casing and rigidly fastened both to evaporation section 5 and condensation section 6 of the casing. Rigidly attached to the heat-insulating ring is turbine- wheel 7 with vanes 8 enclosed with rim 9, forming annular gap 10 between the heat-insulating rim and turbine-wheel rim. The turbine-wheel is provided with journal 11 that carries another turbine-wheel 12 with guide vanes 13 enclosed with rim 14, forming annular gap 15. The rim of the second turbine-wheel represents an internal annular magnet. Intsalled above the internal annular magnet is external annular magnet 16 rigidly coupled to foundation 17. The rims of both turbine-wheels have annular grooves. On the side of the evaporation region the turbine-wheel rim is furnished with additional vanes. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 6 dwg
