METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MONITORING SPECIFIC RESISTANCE OF BIOLOGIC TISSUES Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2056791 C1

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves setting matrix head on the area under investigation, the head having n electrodes connected to a power supply source . The power supply source is to be stable and connected to current electrodes of the matrix head. Information is taken from potential electrodes. Both current and potential electrodes are not to be set along a straight line. Current strength is switched in the programmed current source and potential Ukl is measured with potential electrodes k and l in series. Then measuring is repeated with switched current direction between the electrodes. Potential measured values results array Ukl currents array Iij are formed to determine the results of the specific resistance monitoring on the biological object area under investigation according a formula given in the invention description. The device has matrix electrode head connected with power supply source and commutator, analog-to-digital converter, processing and control unit, digital-to analog converter and programmed nonlinear converter connected to its first output, which second input is connected to commutator output made in programmed version and having input connected to the second output of the digital-to-analog converter which third output is connected to the power supply source input made to be stable, its input being connected to the processing and control unit output which output is connected to output of the programmed nonlinear converter through the analog-to-digital converter. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements. 2 cl, 1 dwg
