FIELD: metal cutting. SUBSTANCE: cutter has a holder, having a closed seat for mounting a cutting plate and a wedge-shaped backing with a groove, a clamp, whose front portion has a wedge-shaped protrusion. The clamp is secured to the holder with use of a screw. The cutting plate is secured to the backing with use of a screw. An end of the wedge-shaped protrusion is arranged in the groove of the backing. An angle between a supporting surface of the angular backing and a rear surface of the cutter is less, than 90 degrees.
