FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: circular motion sensor has system of coarse and fine reading dials made in form of Archimedean spiral and radial lines made on flat disk base, dial illumination unit, optical projecting channels for taking readings which are fixed beyond the axis of rotation, photodetectors and electronic system for processing the signals in measuring the angles. Arranged in sensor are systems of coarse and fine dials in form of Archimedean spiral, radial lines and circle on one disk which has freedom of rotation and set for taking readings off matrix photodetectors which provide for opticoelectrical reduction for precision measurement of angles. EFFECT: simplification of construction. 1 dwg
