FIELD: optical reflecting instruments; navigational instruments for sea-going vessels for measuring altitudes of celestial bodies at finding ship's position at sea, as well as well as measuring angles between objects at any direction relative to level. SUBSTANCE: proposed instrument has base 3 holding the following components: telescope 6 provided with raising mechanism, movable larger mirror 4 in mount, fixed smaller mirror 8 in mount, set of light filters 10 in mounts articulated between movable and fixed mirrors and after fixed mirror, unit for reading-off angle being measured and unit for holding the instrument. Larger movable mirror 4 is turned by means of helical and band transmission 17, 18 made in form of sector 12 which is rigidly connected with shaft mounted on base of instrument in body with bearings.
