FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: deep soil thermometer has mount with metal end-piece, cut and through longitudinal slot which is in communication with slit slot. Thermometer is inserted by its lower portion in flexible sleeve to whose loop taut cord (thread or fish line) is secured. Flexible sleeve is made in for, of multi-layer turns of bare copper wire. Sleeve rests against bottom of metal end-piece and is partially engageable with mount. Cord is passed through hole of circular gasket and is provided with at least one swell in part located on thermometer envelope above cut in mount. Upper end of cord with bearing unit is located on disk shock absorber. EFFECT: ease in use and enhanced accuracy of temperature readings. 1 dwg
