APPARATUS FOR RIVETING PARTS, HAVING CURVILINEAR SURFACES Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a housing, on which a mechanism for riveting with riveting punches and a mechanism for compressing in the form of driven drifts, whose quantity corresponds to a number of rows of rivets of a pack, being made, are mounted. A unit, being in the form of a rotary table, and connected with the table mechanisms for rotating the table and fixing it in a predetermined position, is designed for mounting and basing parts of the pack. A drive unit for moving the drifts is in the form of power drive assemblies with rods and wedges, secured to the rods. Each drift has a groove for placing a respective wedge. The riveting mechanism is in the form of an additional power drive, two-arm lever, being jointly mounted by its mean portion on the housing and connected by its one arm with the above mentioned drive, a rocker arm with a groove and a strip. The riveting punches are jointly mounted on the rocker arm. The mechanism for rotating the table is in the form of a reciprocation motion drive, whose rod is connected with a shaft by an additional rocker arm.
