SHEARS WITH LEVERAGE SHEARING MECHANISM Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: pressure forming of materials. SUBSTANCE: shears include a housing with main guides; arranged in the guides an upper and a lower supports with cutters; additional guides, being normal relative to the main guides. A main slider is placed in the additional guides. Two connecting rods, having the same length, by their one ends are jointly connected with the main slider and arranged symmetrically relative to a lengthwise axis of the above mentioned slider. A free end of one connecting rod is jointly connected with the lower support. The additional guides, provided in a base, are parallel with the main guides and coaxial with them. The additional slider is joined with the upper support by a rigid tie rod. A free end of the second connecting rod is jointly connected with the additional slider. Adjusting members, having a set of adjusting liners, are provided for controlling a length value of the connecting rods. EFFECT: enhanced structure of the shears. 4 cl, 3 dwg
