FIELD: equipment for cross cutting of strips, for example of thermoplastic polymeric film or foil. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes lower stationary cutter arranged onto traverse bar rigidly joined with ends of cylindrical rams mounted with possibility of reciprocation motion in bearing assemblies. Ends of rams are joined with gib connected with rod of piston of hydraulic cylinder. Upper movable cutter is provided with mechanism for adjusting its position in horizontal plane. Additional bearing assemblies spring-loaded relative to housing of apparatus by means of plate spring are mounted on cylindrical rams. Said plate spring is mounted with possibility of engagement with additional bearing assemblies and it has springiness regulator.
