APPARATUS FOR CUTTING OUT RECTANGULAR PARTS Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: sheet material separation equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has a stationary knife with a cutting portion in the form of a comb, a rotary drum with knives, guides for a sheet, a rotary table. The knife and the guides are arranged with an inclination angle. A clamping comb is arranged over a supporting surface of the stationary knife. The clamping comb is joined with rods, being closed by power springs. The rods engage with cam discs through levers. The cam discs are secured to a shaft of the drum. Upon continuous rotation of the drum the levers perform rocking motion and the rods are being moved up and down according to the rocking motion of the levers. At lower position of the rods the sheet is being pressed to a lower knife. At that period a necessary movable knife inlets in the working zone for cutting the sheet to parts. At an upper position the rods release the sheet, and the last may freely slide into the cutting zone by a feed stroke value. Then the cutting process is being repeated until complete cutting of the sheet. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the apparatus, high quality of parts, simplified structure of the apparatus. 2 cl, 4 dwg
