FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: to automatize the sawing and to ensure its safety, the felling, together with charge-discharge, fastening and processing zones, is placed at angle α relative to horizontal line and is shifted under the action of own weight by value L. The values a and L are determined preliminarily, according to relationships given in the formula. The main part of felling is attached to basing plane in charge-discharge zone. Cut off part of felling is attached to the same plane in fastening zone. That excludes penetration of small-sized fellings into processing zone. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and processing safety; facilitated manufacture. 3 cl, 5 dwg
