FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: device has mechanism for veneer supply, cutting organs and drive mechanisms. It is characterized by the fact that mechanism for veneer supply is equipped with pair of eccentric grippers placed in through notches of sliders travelling in through turnings of upper guide plate 21 and lower guider plane 22 equipped with face cantilevers passing through movable bracket 18 and connected with it by axis. In this case movable bracket 18 can rotate around axis. Movable bracket 18 is equipped with finger having roller interacting with profiled cam put on intermediate shaft 12 of drive 1 together with two other profiled cams. Cutting organs which ensure giving round section to felling with its following cutting off from veneer are made as two mounted against each other rows of cutters 8 with different geometric dimensions of cutting edges mounted in holder equipped with chip-tapping blades. Housing 32 with irregularly-shaped notches are mounted behind holder. Jackets for chip receiving are set up in notches. Housing 32 have axis where singing C-shaped frame 19 is placed. It is equipped with central prop and planks-stackers. EFFECT: simper design.
