FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves the preparing substrate by components mixing one of which is waste of animal origin followed by addition of worms and/or their cocoons to it, substrate stacking to boxes or layers and composting at the moisture 65-80%, aeration, separation of worms from the prepared humus. The main component of substrate is the waste of cardboard manufacture at concentration 20-80% of total substrate mass. Waste of animal origin: cattle manure and/or pig manure and bird dung, worms of species Eisenia foetida at concentration 15000-25000 things per 1 m2. At low nitrogen content in substrate the following addition of nitrogen mineral fertilizers were added: urea (5% of total substrate mass) and simultaneous addition of limestone flour at concentration that provides pH value of ready substrate 8, not above. EFFECT: improved method of waste utilization. 5 cl, 4 tbl
