FIELD: food storage. SUBSTANCE: storehouse room is made in the form of artificial water reservoir on earth surface presenting a pit filled with clean natural water with food storing on the bottom of reservoir below freezing depth. The food is appropriately packed and grouped. Empty package is stored at the same place. Depending on local hydrogeological and climate conditions of storage locality the pit may be made both completely below surface, or semi-deepened with lateral walls in the form of ground slopes with dressing or without, as well as vertical of stones or other materials, completely open or partially, or completely covered with removable dismountable assembled thermally insulated roof, preferentially floatable, for example of individual rubber or polymeric pontoons (tanks in the form of cushions). All handling, shipping, and stocking operations at the given storage are fulfilled using modern means of mechanization. Qualitative and quantitative scope of the means is minimum and presented by single frame or bridge crane. Such both natural and known engineering means as artesian wells or pumping plants, icehouses or refrigerating machines are used as ones to keep preset conditions in the storage. The given storage is characterized also by the fact that it may be used for storing not only food staff, but industrial goods too, preferentially rubber goods, particularly, tires etc. for motor vehicles and other wheeled equipment being stored for a long time as reserves of different applications, such as reserved, and strategic etc., as well as for paint and varnish goods and other fire hazardous goods of current keeping, without changing its design. EFFECT: fire protection of goods being stored, simplicity in design, small material consumption. 4 cl, 4 dwg
