SUBSTANCE: principle refers to the technology of storing of fruits, vegetables and crop products in a modified gaseous medium. Before stacking the product in the storage, the product is kept in an environment containing 1-ethylcyclopropene for 12-48 hrs. After that the product is kept in a wrapped, gas permeable polymer material form, at low temperatures.
EFFECT: increasing the period of storage of fruits, vegetables and crop products.
