FIELD: borehole drilling. SUBSTANCE: connection of pipe shells includes spacing members put into annular grooves of mated surfaces. In process of connection there are used rollers linked by flexible coupling, additional bushing with ring grooves to accommodate spacing members and restoring members anchored in grooves of butt surfaces of rollers. Radial clearances between bushing and pipe shells are sealed by rows of restoring rings. Proposed design of locking connection provides for volumetric damping of vibrations of pipe strings emerging as result of operation of vacuum plant and face motor. EFFECT: provision for volumetric damping of vibrations of pipe strings. 4 dwg
