FIELD: cooling systems with biological pollution of vegetable origin. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for steam turbine condenser cooling water purification has mechanical gauze 1 made in the form of closed belt, composed of sieves; and washing mechanism 7 located over water stream on rear side of gauze. Opposite washing mechanism on front side of gauze there is additionally located on pendulum-type suspension 8 cylindrical brush 9 rigidly fixed on shaft 10, on ends of which there are freely mounted detaching disks 11. In the case brush 9 is contacting gauze along whole its width and is capable to rotate around axis in direction, that is opposite to direction of gauze movement in point of contact.
