SUBSTANCE: device has spillway dam, lengthwise dividing wall forming sluiceway channel together with riverside, gates placed in upper and lower portions of the sluiceway channel, and diversion cut channel with water intake chamber adjoining sluiceway channel. The device is provided with sluiceway pipes with gates connecting head race with water receiving chamber, and louver grate installed at water receiver inlet. Dividing wall adjoining directly the dam. Flushing water receiving chamber is carried out at completely open lower gate and slightly open upper gate to ensure pressure drop by opening regulating gates of sluiceway pipes.
