FIELD: locking device using power means, may be used on railway to lock freight cars. SUBSTANCE: lock has power hydraulic cylinders installed in the case, toothed wheel, racks, axle with a handle installed on end of it. The device is provided with pneumatic cylinder - distributor blocking mechanism connected to it, and ratchet-and-pawl mechanism. The ratchet-and-pawl mechanism is made in the form of a sleeve and a cylinder interconnected through inclined teeth. The cylinder is placed on other end of the axle. A wash is rigidly connected to the cylinder. A disc enabling to move axially, spring loaded towards the washer is installed on the sleeve. Toothed wheel spring loaded towards pneumatic cylinder - distributor is installed on the rod coaxially to the sleeve. Pneumatic cylinder - distributor is linked to power cylinder through main line. The power cylinder is provided for coupling disc pins to washer openings and for stopping one rack installed so to interact with toothed wheel. Female blind axial openings with two-lateral rectangular slots are originated on toothed wheel together with the sleeve to engage end of rod of the pneumatic cylinder - distributor.
