FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: mortise lock comprises a body and a dead bolt and stop pins capable of entering the body and exiting it accordingly into an open and locked positions by means of a wheel pushing the bolt out. The wheel that pushes the bolt out is in a cogged connection with a gear, which has two pins protruding from one of its surfaces. Gear pins engage with a cogged rack connected with the dead bolt, and as the gear rotates, pins alternately enter grooves and exit grooves of the cogged rack and thus impart rectilinear motion to the cogged rack, and make the dead bolt enter the body and exit it. The gear engages with another gear, which also has two pins protruding from one of its surfaces. Gear pints engage with the first cogged rack and the second cogged rack, accordingly, which are attached to stop pins of the lock, and as the gear rotates, pints alternately enter the grooves and exit the grooves of the first and second cogged racks and make stop pins enter the body and exit from it.
EFFECT: expansion of an arsenal of technical means for designs of mortise locks.
