FIELD: production of powders of the preset sizes for various powder technologies. SUBSTANCE: classifier has airtight body made of two flat rectangular electrodes located one above the other and having holes for intake of powder to be classified and discharge of classification products, side dielectric walls with slotted holes for intake and discharge of gas phase, fan and fine filter. Electrodes on the side of the interelectrode space have two-five profiled sections. Width of hole for discharge of gas phase exceeds the width of hole for intake of gas phase by 5-50%. Planes of electrodes are installed at angle between the normal to them and the vector of gravity force within the angle Φ=0.2-20 deg. Geometry of profiled sections is trapezium in cross-section with increasing angles j at large bases of trapezia in direction of gas phase flow, that is, . EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
