SUBSTANCE: loading device has shield mounted on tractor frame for reciprocating along longitudinal axis of frame under action of hydraulic cylinder-operated member. Mechanism providing longitudinal travel of log bundle has winch secured on tractor frame. Traction cable of winch is passed over one block, minimum. Axle of block is mounted on shield stationary. Mechanism has at least one additional block mounted for travel in longitudinal vertical plane relative to above-indicated block, being spring-loaded relative to the block and coupled with the block by means of traction cable reeved off in blocks for changing block-to block distance.
