FIELD: friction- mechanical application of coatings, applicable in application of coatings to the internal cylindrical surfaces, for instance, engine cylinder liners. SUBSTANCE: device for friction-mechanical application of coatings has loading mechanism in form of air cylinder, piston, return spring pusher, lever system connected to holders with blocks accommodating members locking rubbing members 5 in form of bars. Rubbing members are made of copper alloys, for instance, bronze BrOF 4-0.25. Bars are made of medium material, for instance, of gallium alloy whose end faces of nonworking part have beads. Bars are spring-loaded through plate spacers by springs located in blocks, and end faces of blocks are rounded. Rubbing members are hollow and fitted with interference onto the internal conical surfaces of blocks. Flexible locking member is located in the end face hollows of piston and pusher. Return spring is installed on pushers. Device is provided with automatic regulation of pressure force and feed by maintaining the constant pressure exerted onto rubbing member due to operation of reducing valve. EFFECT: higher productivity of the process and improved quality of applied coatings and reduced material consumption. 5 dwg
