FIELD: solutions for vibration-abrasive treatment of metal parts and methods for their preparation. SUBSTANCE: solution for vibration-abrasive treatment of metal parts and method for its preparation include mixing of triethanolamine, salt of carboxilic acid, surfactant, water and alcohol. Carboxilic acid is used in form of preliminarily prepared monoethanolamide of oleic acid by neutralization of oleic acid with monoethanolamine in ratio of 1: 2. Solution contains, g/l: triethanolamine 30.0-70.0; sintamid-5 10.0-30.0; trilon B 8.0-32.0; isopropyl alcohol 75.0-100.0; product of reaction of oleic acid with monoethanolamine 150.0-225.0; the balance, water. EFFECT: application of solution results in improved quality of polishing, increased service life of abrasive material, particular, in polishing of latch needles for sewing machines. 1 tbl
