FIELD: roof maintaining in stopes. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic upright of two-way extension has a cylinder with base, plungers of the first and the second step with pistons having guide belts, seals, travel stop. Seals are made on internal surfaces of the cylinder and plunger of the first step. Travel stops of the plungers are placed below guide belts of stem cavity seals. Cylinder base has installation opening with sealing plug installed. Diameter of the installation opening is higher than that of plunger piston of the first step. Method for assembling includes insertion plungers of both steps in the cylinder, installation of gaskets and stops. First stem cavity gaskets are installed, then plungers of both steps are inserted subsequently thought installation opening to the cylinder. The plug in cylinder base is installed and stopped.
