FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in various devices designed to operate from A.C., network and in quickly changing magnetic fields. Process improves stabilization of internal zones of conductor, provides for integrity of diffusion barriers including conductors having diameter less than 0.5 mm. With this deformability of composite material at final stage of its manufacture improves, output of good material increases and consequently reliability and efficiency of manufacture of superconductors of small (less than 0.5 mm) diameters with thin and ultrathin fibres are raised. Improvement of stabilization of superconductor is achieved thanks to uniform positioning of stabilizing material over section of workstock or thanks to its positioning in several planes directed radially from center towards periphery of composite workstock. Integrity of diffusion barriers is ensured by preliminary recrystallization annealing prior to their positioning in composite workstock which results in 20 to 40 per cent decrease of hardness of material of barrier.
