PLASMA CIRCUIT-BREAKER Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2062551 C1

FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: coaxial electrodes of circuit-breaker has through grooves which are filled with insulator. unit for detection of controlled induction rate is designed as electromagnetic inductance coils, which are mounted on side of load in ring slots which are provided in ring electrodes on side of discharge channel. One terminal of each coil is connected to electrode, another one is connected to load. Coil turns are insulated from one another and from electrodes. Part of surface of turns, which are connected to discharge channel, is not insulated. EFFECT: increased functional capabilities. 2 cl, 1 dwg
