LONG-CUT MATERIAL WINDING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2062747 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has movable support holding winding shaft in process of winding by means of which roll can be shifted towards pressure shaft and moved in opposite direction to provide taking off completely wound on roll. New winding shaft made to operate at speed of material motion on which beginning of material plate formed by making a separating cut can be wound, is placed in movable support by means of special arrangement. To preclude action of increasing weight of roll on pressure shaft, movable support is formed by two pairs of lever-type fixing members; each pair can move either synchronously with the other or independently from the other. Pairs of levers can hold roll either together, or each pair can hold ready wound roll independently or hold shaft with wound on beginning of material plate. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 7 dwg
