FIELD: medicine, pulmonology. SUBSTANCE: regulation of glutathione transferase activity with cAMP is determined in blood erythrocytes. Enzyme activity is determined using 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene as substrate and activity is expressed as nmole/min/1 mg protein. Effect of cAMP is determined as an activity increase. In the absence of glutathione transferase regulation effect with cAMP phase of exacerbation disease and dispnea attacks were observed in patient that requires intensive broncholytic therapy application. Remission phase disease at favorable prognosis is diagnosed in the presence of glutathione transferase regulation with cAMP. EFFECT: increased precision, simplified analysis.
