FIELD: hydrolysis industry. SUBSTANCE: raw material purified by washing with hot water and treatment with dilute sulfuric acid is subjected to hydrolysis in the sulfuric acid solution followed by filtering off nonreacted residuum. Hydrolysate is further neutralized in a multicell electrodialyzer containing alternating cationite and anionite membranes, the hydrolysate being loaded into diluate cells, whereas the cathode and anode cells are loaded with sulfuric acid solution, and the regenerated acid is recovered in acid cells adjacent to the diluate cells. To reduce the sulfuric acid concentration and increase its yield, water is loaded into the acid cells. The neutralizate thus obtained is purified and concentrated, and target products are finally isolated by known methods. EFFECT: achieved reagent-free neutralization of the acid in hydrolysate with simultaneous regeneration thereof. 2 cl
