SUBSTANCE: method to produce gold-bearing sulfite preparation for gilding electrolyte preparation provides for reaction of sulfite and ethylenediamintetra-acetate-ion of chloroauric acid, sodium sulfate and ethylendiamintetraacetic acid correspondingly with molar ratio of reagents of 8.1 : 1.0 : 4.1 : 0.3 in sodium hydroxide solution. Then settling is separated from solution, washed from ions of chlorine with ethanol, corrected with solution, components of which are sodium hydroxide, sodium sulfide and ethylenediamintetraacetic acid till molar ratio of gold, sulfite- and ethylenediamintetraacetate-ion in good product is 1.0 : / ≥ 2.0/ : ?> 0.1/ correspondingly. Settling is washed and dried. EFFECT: increased production of gold-bearing sulfite preparation in solid state. 3 tbl
