FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: actuator is secured on a rig. Distance from roller bit as cutting tool to cut track is determined. Sensor for monitoring cutting tool is secured at this distance. Actuator is driven in rotation. Cut track is sprayed and methane-air mixture is supplied to the track when the cutting tool is apart from cut track start. Spraying and methane-air mixture feeding are finished as the cutting tool achieves cut track end. Actuator sparkproofness is determined from inflammation of the methane-air mixture when the cutting tool is in travel from the beginning to the end. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
