FIELD: mining. SUBSTANCE: sample to be tested is secured to test rig. On measuring space between axis of spray plume and cutter edge the spray is turned on. Each cutter is provided with water collector and amount of water taken by the water collector is measured. Then the obtained value is compared to preset value. The actuator is safe with respect to spark formation if the space is equal or less than 20 mm and measured water amount is higher or equal to preset one. EFFECT: high reliability. 2 dwg
