FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: samples are saturated with water or are put into aqueous media of various corrosiveness. Samples frozen and thawed. Present strength of samples is determined after specified number of freezing and thawing cycles. Relation of present strength is established from condition R_i>0,95R_o and determination of present strength is continued up to value R_i>0,95R_o. Frost resistance of construction material is evaluated by number of freezing and thawing cycles which corresponds to irreversible destruction of material.
