FIELD: radiation monitoring. SUBSTANCE: object is marked with an identification sign containing radioactive substances, and its radioactivity is measured and is used for recognizing of the object. Mixtures of isotopes with different half-life periods are used. The object is identified according to the pulse-height distribution with due account made for partial decay of radioactive isotopes. EFFECT: facilitated procedure.
