FIELD: methods for radiation detection. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of label, which contains luminescent material with individual set of components, to object to be checked, exposing of applied label to stimulating radiation, recording characteristics of luminescent illumination, subsequent exposing of applied label to stimulating radiation for each checking operation, comparison of detected characteristics against recorded characteristics. Specific feature of method is random selection of luminescent components with different duration of luminescent illumination as individual sets of components for labels. Label is exposed to radiation pulses which duration is less than luminescent illumination of any luminescent component in set. Duration of luminescence is used as recorded characteristic.
