FIELD: method of catalyst production for polymerization of propylene based on trichloride of titanium during production of fine dispersive highly active catalyst without its mechanical comminution. SUBSTANCE: new method, as is its prototype, provides, that trichloride of titanium contacts alfa-olefin in presence of aluminum organic compound. In contrast to prototype, contact is exercised by microspheric trichloride of titanium with highest olefin - hexene-1, octene-1, decene-1 or their mixture taken in amount from 50 to 200 mass % in respect to trichloride of titanium. This way produced catalyst is less tended to sedimentation, has fine grained structure, that provides during its usage similar structure of propylene.
