FIELD: chemical technology, organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: mixture of polyfluorochlorobenzenes is synthesized by pyrolysis of dichlorofluoromethane in the presence of water vapor in tube reactor made of copper, quartz, stainless steel and ceramic at 690-860 C. Pyrolysis carrying out in the presence of metal fluoride additions (sodium or copper), cupric, bronze or nickel chip or graphite increases the content of highly fluorinated benzene derivatives in mixture.
