FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: reagent 1: 1,3-difluorobenzene. Reagent 2: alkyl (methyl, ethyl, n-butyl) chloride. Reaction conditions: alkylation in the presence of sodium amide in liquid ammonia medium. Synthesized 2,6-difluoro-n-alkylbenzenes were used for synthesis of herbicides and insecticides. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, decreased cost of chloroalkyls.
