INSTALLATION FOR TREATMENT OF SEWAGE OF MEAT-PACKING PLANT Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

Abstract RU 2065411 C1

FIELD: treatment of fat-containing sewage of enterprises of meat and fish-processing industry, dairy factories with discharge of their clarified water into fish hatchery water reservoirs. SUBSTANCE: installation for treatment of sewage of meat-packing plant includes cylindrical and conical settlers-digesters I-II-III-IV interconnected successively with radial pipes and connected by pipes 21 with low-pressure fan 22, branch pipe 2 of sewage admission and branch pipe 3 for discharge of clarified water into biofilter 5 and branch pipe 4 for discharge of fermented sediments. Immobilizing packing 20 in form of flexible threads is arranged opposite of radial pipes. Body of settler-digester has overflow horizontal edge 25 with discharge channel 26 located outside of it, and annular header 23 with holes located from inner side. Holes of annular header 23 for discharge of low-pressure air prevent active silt from getting into biofilter where bacteria are separated, and clarified water is saturated with air oxygen prior to discharge into fish hatchery water reservoir. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
