FIELD: means for self-defence. SUBSTANCE: gas-cylinder pistol is designed to throw irritating or painting powder-like substances. It includes frame with or without handle, barrel with butt bores attached to frame which are separated by perforated diaphragm. Front bore houses container with powder, rear one has needle attached to diaphragm with point to pierce membrane of cylinder set backwards, seal and neck of cylinder placed inside frame. For shot cylinder is moved with the help of lever anchored in frame. Membrane is pierced, gas is ejected out of cylinder through holes of diaphragm and projectile is thrown by gas into target.
