FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: fuel system has gas cylinder with safety, shutoff and filling valves and fittings made with division into gas and liquid spaces wherefrom gas is taken for operation only from liquid space under gauge pressure in gas space. Evaporator is made in form of gas chamber with valve to regulate supplied heat. Evaporator is ball shaped, with starting electric heater and with nonspill sump in bottom portion furnished with float valve to prevent getting of liquid into gas chamber, and siphon intake pipe connecting bottom part of sump with bottom part of gas cylinder and freely passing liquid and its vapors back and forth which provides controlled transformation of liquefied oil gas into gaseous fuel for internal combustion engine. System metering device is made on fuel main in form of high pressure regulator-accelerator with pedal operated by driver's foot and with eccentric idling switch. Reduced fuel is delivered to mixer through engine idling valve provided with idling channel adjustable by screw in section and operating diaphragm for loaded modes of operation. Mixer is designed for operation of gaseous fuel. Electromagnetic valve operating as shutoff device is installed before mixer. Mixer is arranged in seat of engine intake valve with mixture swirler in cylinder for operation on gaseous fuel. Existing carburetor-mixer of compressed gas vehicles and gas mixer of gas diesel vehicles can be used as mixers. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
