FIELD: light source manufacture. SUBSTANCE: light source has envelope selectively transmitting light in wavelength range of 250 to 800 mcm and at least one radiator. The latter is made of material producing light as electric current is passed through it. Envelope is made of glass transmitting light in wavelength range of 180 to 800 mcm; it is coated with film composition of radiation-resistant polymer and inorganic filler that re-distributes light passed through envelope in space and over spectrum. Radiator material provides for light generation in wavelength range of 180 to 800 mcm. Light source is provided, in addition, with radiator made of material possessing luminescent properties. EFFECT: improved design. 24 cl, 6 dwg
