FIELD: lighting engineering. SUBSTANCE: lighting fixture used for decontamination of air consists of light source radiating in ultraviolet zone of spectrum, start-and-control apparatus for flashup, stabilization and control of mode of operation of light source, housing with holes in upper and lower parts; device is additionally provided with optical device redistributing radiation of light source; optical device has at least one unit of quick-detachable shields located between light source and receiver (living thing, plant) to ensure various functions of device. Housing is provided with dampers in its lower and upper parts for closing the holes. Inner surface is provided with coating which reflects both radiation of light source and radiation of luminescent substance applied together with polymer on one shield; start-and-control apparatus has elements which match its mode with one characteristic of radiation receiver; light source radiates mainly within lengths of waves ranging from 180 to 270 Nm.
